BITS AND PIECES

The DOG has finally been put on a CD. Bob Lundin from the Diablo Chapter in CA has finished this project. Now the BOD is reviewing it before it is sent out. The contents are locked so the only changes made will be in the HRRVC Office. Hopefully it will be ready to be distributed by the International Rally in August.

MEMBERSHIP

The HRRVC Membership Chairman, Dan Herman, Region V, reported that the membership has kind of leveled off. We do hope that we will get some increases in the near future.

2008 REGION VIII/
CA RALLY

Lodi, CA-May 14-18-2008

Mike Meirs and Merle Winton (with much help) will be planning the Rally. They will be assigning activities for each state. State Managers please plan to attend this rally.

We will be welcoming the new Region VIII Director, whoever it may be. (Meirs@sbcglobal.net) or (wintons2000@aol.com) for information.

By now all the nominations are in, the forms are filled out. On April 1st the ballots will be mailed to your address on file as of March 30, 2008.

REGION RALLY REMINDER

State Managers get mileage reimbursement to and from home (or wherever you are when you start to the rally) We will have to wait until the Region Council meeting to determine how much, if any, rally fee you are reimbursed.

PLEASE REGISTER AND ATTEND

IMPORTANT NOTICE

It has come to my attention that some chapters are allowing non HRRVC members to your outings. This is not allowed! Each Chapter can have one Buddy outing per year.

Breaking this guideline can result in having your Chapter Charter pulled.
