Purging your air tank:  My 2003 Imperial has two compressed air valves which are easily accessed with the generator rolled out.  These valves are both connected  (by high pressure hoses) to the bottom of the air tank.  To purge water from the bottom of the air tank (once a month) run to engine, open a valve for a few moments or until no moisture is observed.  This purges the tank.  If you have a different year or model, verify that the bleed hoses are connected to the bottom of the air tank, or have your service technician do that at the next servicing.

Do you have a brand new rig with an Allison Transmission?

If you do, have your service technician determine what kind of transmission oil you have at the time you do the 5000 mile filter change.

I just had the filters replaced in my new 2003 Imperial, and the mechanic told me I had Transend in the transmission.  WOW, this is 100,000 mile fluid with a different filter change schedule!  It save a lot of bucks, but it is expensive if you change over to it.  Check to see if it came in your new rig for "free".
