The National Webmaster, Maria Donnelly, is continually upgrading the National Website (www.hrrvc.org). She not only incorporates the Club’s news items, the Ramblings Magazine, and information about our events, but she enhances the website’s usefulness by adding additional capabilities. The website now has a Forum section in the members’ only portion of the site, which is accessed using your HRRVC number and your Password. The forum is where the members can post comments and questions. However, the postings must be appropriate for all Club members to read. No derogatory or negative comments, which include names, will be allowed. The forum includes a number of areas, including: General HRRVC comments and questions, HRRVC Rallies and Events, Motorhomes, Towables, Technical Problems and Solutions, Regional information and news, Recalls, General Computer questions and comments, and Items for Sale. The “Items for Sale” is the last area to be added to the Forum section; this is where members can post items, including RV units, which they want to sell. The rules for posting items are listed at the top of the “Items for Sale” forum page. Each posting is reviewed and approved by the site’s moderator before it appears on the website.

The National Website’s “Membership List” is to become the Club’s membership directory. Therefore, it is extremely important that all HRRVC members complete their Membership Profile, which at a minimum includes contact information (mailing address, telephone number and email address). Realizing that there are a number of members, who do not have email addresses, the website has been modified to allow members to use a friend’s email address; therefore, multiple members can have the same email address. However, the member, who allows others to use their email address, is responsible to pass along all general membership information received via. email from the HRRVC Office to those, who used their email address.
