  • We will leave Dawson Creek via the "ALCAN" highway, with over –night stops in Ft. Nelson and Toad River, on our way to our first major stop in Watson Lake, home of the unique sign forest. The visitor center has an interesting display of photos and films taken in the mid-40's, illustrating the construction of the Alaska Highway.
  • From Watson Lake, we will continue up the "ALCAN" to our next stop in Whitehorse, the largest city in the Yukon Territory. Here we will spend an evening at the fabulous Frantic Follies Show, take an all day bus/train trip to Skagway, Alaska - gateway to the gold fields of 1898 and enjoy a barbecued steak dinner. From Whitehorse, we'll continue north to the Klondike, Dawson City, home of the Klondike Gold Rush and relive the history of the Gold Rush Days of 1898 and learn about the poetry of Robert Service! You will visit Diamond Tooth Gerties, world famous dance hall and saloon and visit a real Gold Dredge.
  • Leaving Dawson City we travel over the "Top of the World" highway to Chicken, Alaska. Our next stop will be in Tok, Alaska. The Visitors Center at Tok is a must.
  • Ride on Branson Scenic Railroad
  • From Tok, we travel north through Delta Junction, the official end of the Alaska Highway. We will camp in North Pole near Santa Claus Land while visiting the second largest city in Alaska - Fairbanks.
  • During our stay, Caravan activities will include a gold mine tour panning your own gold, a visit to the University of Alaska museum and examining a section of the Alyeska Pipeline. We'll enjoy a salmon bake and a show at Pioneer Park. The Sternwheeler Discovery III will take us for an afternoon tour combining colorful river history with authentic native traditions and the raw beauty of Alaska's rugged interior, with a stop at an authentic Chena Indian village.
  • While in Fairbanks, you will have time for the optional flight to Point Barrow or the Arctic Circle fly/drive adventure.
  • ... and so much more.
